Visiting the website

The web server receives connection information needed to serve pages, such as your IP address, time, requested files and browser information. Whether the host stores server logs, and for how long, depends on the actual server configuration.

This website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. A data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR is in place. The hosting account currently has full access logging enabled. These technical logs are separate from the aggregate statistics described below. The specific log retention period is being clarified with the hosting provider.

Minimal audience statistics without cookies

We analyse only incoming page, link and firmware requests on our own ALL-INKL webspace to improve the website, product references and firmware distribution. We use no analytics JavaScript, tracking pixels, browser storage or access to device information for recognition. There are no cookies, visitor IDs, IP hashes, fingerprints or visitor profiles, and no visitor data is sent to an analytics provider.

Only separate daily counters are stored: page views and entry pages without URL parameters, broad referral channels (such as Google, YouTube or TikTok), countries, product/affiliate and other outbound link requests, firmware downloads and update checks. Unrecognised referring sites are counted only as “Other website”. Full referrer URLs, search terms, campaign IDs and click IDs are not stored. Individual visits and browsing journeys cannot be reconstructed.

The IP address received for the connection is reduced to an IPv4 /24 or IPv6 /48 prefix before a local country lookup in memory. Neither the IP address nor its prefix is stored in the statistics. Country lookup uses a local copy of DB-IP Country Lite (CC BY 4.0); no visitor request is sent to DB-IP. Browser information is checked transiently to filter known automated requests and is not stored.

We base the brief processing of connection data on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in minimal audience measurement and improving the website. Daily statistics are considered for at most 180 days and automatically purged on the next processing run. They are accessible only to the operator in a password-protected dashboard. Hosting logs are separate and described above.

Objecting and your rights

You may object to statistical processing at any time. Requests carrying Do Not Track (DNT) or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals are excluded. Alternatively, open the website without statistical counting; the no_stats=1 parameter is carried through our internal navigation links. This sets no opt-out cookie. Exclusion does not automatically apply to a new visit without this parameter or a DNT/GPC signal. All website functionality remains available.

You can contact the operator above to exercise your rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction and objection where the legal requirements are met. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The aggregate statistics cannot be linked to an individual.

No advertising scripts

The website uses no advertising pixels or embedded social widgets. Images, fonts and the USB installer are served from the same webspace. No external font or script CDN is contacted when viewing a page.

Language and display preview

The language switch opens an English or German version of the current page. Preview selections can be carried in the page URL. The simulation uses fixed example data in your browser, without connecting to your sock, clock or Owlet account. It does not send readings or interactions to an analytics service.

Shopping country

Your browser language suggests an initial country for hardware links. You can choose Germany, the United Kingdom or the United States yourself. The choice can be carried in the page URL and internal links, including language changes. The website uses no IP lookup service or device geolocation for this, and stores no country preference in cookies or local storage.

USB installation

The wizard uses your browser’s Web Serial interface. It receives access to a serial port only after you select a device in the browser. The firmware image downloads from the web server and transfers to the clock over USB. The website does not upload device logs or Owlet data to the web server.

Device setup and Owlet

After flashing, setup takes place on your clock’s local web interface. Credentials are stored on the clock and used by it to sign in to the required Google, Owlet and Ayla services. The public website is not involved. See the data flow documentation.

External links and optional support

Opening GitHub, Ko-fi or a partner link takes you to another website, whose privacy information then applies. Affiliate and referral links are labelled; their destination providers may identify the referring link. No provider widget loads without a click.

Copying a partner code

The copy button writes the displayed partner code to your clipboard only after you click it. The website does not read your clipboard.
